Despite training being called off on Tuesday, the ball was rolling at Weser Stadium. The German Football Federation (DFB) was holding a practice presentation at the arena as part of a three-day international coaching congress taking place since Monday at the Congress Centrum Bremen.

Youth talents from SV Werder's U16 teams and SC Weyhe's U17 side were schooled by DFB sports educator Ralf Peter on the topic "individual technical-tactical details in setting up play". Afterwards, DFB techniques coach Marcel Lucassen displayed the topic "individual training and coaching within team training".

More than 900 coaches followed the wide-ranging program of the international coaching congress. Among the guests were former Bundesliga stars such as Frank Verlaat and Zvonimir Soldo as well as current Bundesglia coaches such as Falko Götz.

SV Werder were supporting the congress. "We made available the youth teams for the practice presentations and help where we can. This event doesn't happen every day," said Björn Schierenbeck, Werder's head of youth academy centres. Werder head coach Robin Dutt showed up on Monday and answered questions at a podium discussion, moderated by kicker magazine editor Hans-Günther. The U23 and U17 teams were taking part in the event Monday afternoon at the Weser Stadium grounds.
