Nobody from SV Werder was really satisfied after a goalless draw to start the second half of the Bundesliga season. That was clear by the reactions after the match. In the catacombs of Weser Stadium, the Green-Whites did say that they were pleased with the stability of the defence against Eintracht Braunschweig, which had been an issue often in the season's first half. But they were missing the final push offensively.

"I am not satisfied at all today. Our focus in the preparations was on defence but it wasn't that much of a focus today that we can be satisfied with a 0-0 draw against the last-place team in our own stadium. That cannot be enough," said head coach Robin Dutt after the match.

WERDER.DE collected more reaction from the mixed zone after the scoreless draw:

Thomas Eichin: "We did a good job defensively, played stabile. Altogether I cannot reproach the team. The only thing that bothers me is that we allowed ourselves to be put under pressure again after the good chances at the start of the second half. I am partially satisfied with the match, but not with the result."

Aaron Hunt: "There is certainly a lot of room for improvement. Usually we come up with good reactions in pressure situations but that was not the case today mainly because we couldn't find our game up front. The fact that we didn't win was because of our offensive play, defensively we played okay."

Raphael Wolf: "We played well as a team defensively. I didn't have much work in goal. A clean sheet is always important for a goalkeeper. Still, it would have been better to win today. We needed to use our chances better today for that. We lost two important points."

Sebastian Prödl: "The manner of the result is bitter. We had a few chances and scored a fair goal but had it disallowed. Basically, we did most of what we wanted to do. We wanted to let Braunschweig play forward and rely on counter attacks. If we would have scored the goal, everything would have been okay. So there are some points of criticism. But the result doesn't upset us."

Zlatko Junuzovic: "The pressure before the match was enormous, but that wasn't enough today. We absolutely wanted to get three points to start the second half. That was very important especially after the results Saturday. But we know that the fight in the second half will come down to the last second."
