The Waldcafe Correll in the Hamburg district Stellinghausen is located in a field, quiet and idyllic. "It's a tranquil place," said Fin Bartls about the spot which is perfect for a comprehensive chat. And the new Werder acquisition freed up plenty of time on this sunny day for the talk.

In an exclusive interview with WERDER.TV and WERDER.DE, the family father of two children admitted that "it's a dream to play in the Bundesliga again and then also for a club like Werder Bremen. It is a major honour for me and makes me proud." Bartels is especially looking forward to the support of the fans. "It really impressed me what they put together. The support and the fact that the Werder fans and the team always present themselves as a unit was certainly also an important part why everything went so well," said the 27-year-old.

He is also looking forward to the North Derbys. "With St. Pauli we also won at Volkspark (Stadium). That was an absolute highlight. Now there will be some more derbies - I am really looking forward to them."

How Fin Bartels is preparing for his time with SV Werder, what convinced him to transfer to the Green-Whites and what the Waldcafe Corell tells us about his personality can all be seen in the video on WERDER.TV.
