Tony Ujah was the first back, returning to training on Saturday morning after taking a knock to the knee on Friday. "Everything's alright, I don't have any more problems," the striker said shortly and sweetly. "It's got better, but naturally it's not completely healed yet. I'm still being treated but I'm able to train," explained Grillitsch with regards to his ankle injury.

Fin Bartels, who was present in parts of the team training, appeared to be optimistic: "So far, everything's alright. I expect to be back in full training tomorrow." Werder's number 22 missed the last two sessions as a result of back problems.

There's further positive news regarding Zlatko Junuzovic. The Austria international was involved in large parts of training with his teammates, whilst also undertaking some further individual work. "I'm on a good path," the midfielder summarised briefly.
