To the delight of the singing away fans, Pizarro, Vestergaard and Co. managed to pick up eleven of their 15 points on the road this season, celebrating victories in Hoffenheim, Augsburg and Mainz, as well as Mönchengladbach in the cup. Werder took an impressive 2,300 fans to Augsburg and 2,900 to Stuttgart. On Twitter, the hashtag #egalwoduauchspielst, which translates to "wherever you will go", started being used, which is just one symbol of the great loyalty of the Bremen fans.

The fan display at the Nordderby was something to behold. With banners and balloons, the game kicked off to a decorated stadium full of passionate fans. It was certainly a game to remember, even if the score didn't go our way.

The game of the season so far was definitely the cup game at the BORUSSIA-PARK. Sternberg, Vestergaard, Pizarro and Ujah turned the 1-0 half-time score deficit into a spectacular 4-3 victory which went right to the death. The round of 16 win has kept Werder's cup hopes alive and set up a quarter final against Bayer Leverkusen.
