Zlatko Junuzovic is out of action until after the winter break. After undergoing tests on Monday morning, it was confirmed that the Austrian has suffered a separated shoulder in Sunday's game in Stuttgart. Further examinations will determine whether or not an operation is required.

The 28-year-old will definitely miss the Green-Whites' Bundesliga games against Köln and Eintracht Frankfurt as well as the DFB Cup round-of-16 clash at Borussia Mönchengladbach. "His absence is difficult for us. We hope that he'll return fit as soon as possible," said manager Viktor Skripnik. "It's painful and after the difficult last few weeks, it's hard for me to not be able to help the team in the important games before the winter break. However, in our current situation, it's not important who plays - all that matters is that the players come together and that we pick up point as a team," said Junuzovic to WERDER.DE.
The Austrian international injured his shoulder shortly after half time after being on the receiving end of a foul from Stuttgart's Baumgartl. He was substituted shortly afterwards.
