After the international break, the new week will bring the return of the Werder players to Bremen and the preparation for the Wolfsburg game on Saturday will begin. Three of the players involved in international action will be back on the training pitch from the start of the week.

One of those players is Zlatko Junuzovic. Despite being selected for the Austria national side, it hasn't quite gone to the Austrian FA's plan, but he has fully recovered from his tendon irritation. "The international break shouldn't really be used to recover, but in this case it was perfect timing given the situation," said Junuzovic. The midfielder will take part in training after consulting the physio about his own situation.

Santiago García has returned to the squad after his calf problems suffered in the game against Augsburg. He had to have a week out to recover, but like Junuzovic, is now fully fit again and can work with his teammates.

Goalscorer Ujah is another one who is back. The Nigerian has missed out for eight days with bruised ribs, which nearly cost him his place in the team against Augsburg. The attacker has been training individually under supervision from the fitness coach, but also a bit with the team. On Monday, the striker will return to the team.

Captain Clemens Fritz and youngster Florian Grillitsch cannot, however, return to team training on Monday. Both are doing individual sessions at the moment in the gym in the hope that they can return to the team on Tuesday. Grillitsch has been suffering from a torn muscle for the last twelve days, while Fritz is working through thigh problems.

Theodor Gebre Selassie is the only one that doesn't yet know when he will return. The Czech got concussion in a collision during the away win against Augsburg. On Monday morning, Gebre Selassie had a bike ride as part of his recovery process.
