SV Werder will once again travel to Belek in Turkey for the winter break to prepare for the second half of the Bundesliga season. From Thursday, 7th January until Saturday, 16th January 2016, Viktor Skripnik's side will train on Turkey's south coast in the winter-training camp. For the 14th time now, the Green Whites have chosen to carry out their winter-break training at these outstanding facilities.
"As we were reminded of last year; Belek - with all its hotels, training pitches and fantastic infrastructure - offers the ideal conditions for us to prepare for the second half of the season to our full potential," said Werder's sporting director Thomas Eichin.
Fritz, Vestergaard and Co. will also be playing a number of test games. The oppositions and kick-off times have not been decided yet. In order to build up as strong a connection between the teams as possible, the SV Werder U23s will also travel to Belek for a week. The third division team under Alexander Nouri will train on the Turquoise Coast from the 7th until the 14th January.
