There has been no reason for Viktor Skripnik to make any significant changes to his squad ahead of the DFB Cup tie against 1. FC Köln. The manager has only called in Lukas Fröde for Wednesday night's game (20:30 CET) in place of Levent Aycicek.

Santiago Garcia didn't take part in the final training session on Tuesday afternoon, completing an individual session at the Weser-Stadion instead. As the final decision regarding the squad is made on the matchday, Skripnik has included the Argentine in a 19-man selection for now, with Janek Sternberg the additional player set to miss out if Garcia proves to be fit enough.

Full Green-Whites squad for the DFB Cup second round:

Wiedwald, Zetterer - Santiago García, Gálvez, Lukimya, Vestergaard, Fritz, Pizarro, Junuzovic, Ulisses García, Ujah, Bartels, Gebre Selassie, Grillitsch, Lorenzen, Eggestein, Sternberg, Fröde and Bargfrede.
