Werder will have to make do without Raphael Wolf for longer than originally expected after the goalkeeper suffered a hip injury. Head coach Viktor Skripnik said on Monday morning that he is expected to be out of action for six to eight weeks.
Wolf had surgery on a hip injury over the summer and started training again at the end of August. However, he suffered a muscle tear shortly afterwards, and has recently been slowly reintroduced to training.
