Double shift on Wednesday: 17 outfield players and two goalkeepers trained at SV Werder's training ground on Wednesday morning. In order to avoid losing focus, a session has been planned for the afternoon as well.

Double shift on Wednesday: 17 outfield players and two goalkeepers trained at SV Werder's training ground on Wednesday morning. In order to avoid losing focus, a session has been planned for the afternoon as well. The squad is fully concentrated, even without the players who have been called up for international duty. A friendly match against Heeslinger SC has been scheduled for Friday 4th September at 17:30 CEST.

International Green-Whites: Six first team players are currently training with their respective national sides. Defender Theodor Gebre Selassie will play the first competitive match, as the Czech Republic have a fixture against Kazakhstan on Thursday night (03/09/2015, 20:45 CEST) as part of their European Championship qualifying campaign. On Friday, Florian Grillitsch could feature against Azerbaijan for the Austria U21 side, and his compatriot Zlatko Junuzovic is with the senior side, preparing for their 20:45 CEST Saturday 5th September match against Moldova. On that same day, the USA will play Peru, where Werder new arrival Aron Jóhannsson will be hoping to make an appearance. In the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, Anthony Ujah and Nigeria will hope to register three points against Tanzania on Sunday (15:30 CEST). The new star of the Nigeria national team is still waiting for his first international goal. Ulisses Garcia will have to wait a bit longer to get on the pitch, as the Switzerland U21 side don't play Kazakhstan until Monday at 16:00 CEST.
