+++ Three debutants: A trio of Green-White players made their debut against Schalke in the Bundesliga on Saturday. Werder's left back Ulisses Garcia made his debut in the staring XI and played the full 90 minutes. New signing Aron Jóhannsson made his first appearance from the bench in the 57th minute. Youngster Florian Grillitsch was given a run out for the final 20 minute, whilst Anthony Ujah and Felix Wiedwald also made their first Bundesliga appearances in a Werder shirt. +++
+++ Nouri dabbles: Training pitches six and seven are the epicentre of his footballing world, for that is where Alexander Nouri trains the Green-White reserves. But last Monday the 35-year-old joined the training sessions on the next pitch over - with the first team. This is because Nouri is currently undertaking a traineeship with his colleagues Skripnik, Frings and Kohfeldt. He describes the aims as "dabbling in training sessions and getting to know the procedures". He continues, "of course we have to do an internship report afterwards." Despite his own training sessions, the reserves coach tries to use any free time to drop in. +++
