Lukas Fröde was the unluckiest player at the first training camp. The youngster picked up a broken nose after an unfortunate clash of heads shortly before the end of the 11-0 friendly victory over MSV Neuruppin. He left the camp prematurely and was successfully operated on at the end of last week.
"It went well. It feels a bit better with each passing day. I'll rest for a few more days but I want to return to the team as soon as possible," explained the 20-year-old, who was operated on by Dr. Thomas Gerste in Bremen.
"We're happy with how the operation went. We're hoping that recovery won't take long and that he'll be back with the team as soon as possible. Lukas won't be coming with us to Zillertal though," explained Viktor Skripnik.
