Under way with a victory! SV Werder beat MSV Neuruppin 11-0 on Sunday in front of 2,200 spectators. Franco Di Santo and debutant Anthony Ujah hit the goalscoring groove instantly.

Line-up and formation:

Viktor Skripnik named a different side in each half of the game. New keeper Felix Wiedwald wasn't involved (he trained individually and will play 90 minutes against Rostock later in the week) so Eric Oelschlägel and Tom Pachulski shared the gloves. Anthony Ujah and Ulisses Garcia made their debuts after the break.

36th Minute: One for you! Maximilian Eggestein's classy cross gets emphatically fired home by Assani Lukimya!

52nd Minute: Julian von Haacke now scores. The youngster calmly slots home to make it 7-0.

64th Minute: Skripnik's men go 8-0 up. Bartels adds his name to the growing list of scorers - what an afternoon!
