Richard Strebinger will return home to Austria. The goalkeeper will swap the SV Werder jersey for that of SK Rapid Vienna next season. Representatives of the Green-Whites met with the most successful Austrian club in history on Monday to conclude the terms of the transfer. Strebinger will sign a contract with the Viennese outfit until July 2019. The transfer fee remains undisclosed.

Richard Strebinger spent the second half of the 2014/15 season on loan at SSV Jahn Regensburg, playing 14 times for the side that finished the season in third place. The 22-year-old arrived at Werder from Hertha BSC in 2012, after making 41 appearances for their reserves in the Regionalliga Nord, as well as featuring in two Bundesliga matches.
