Werder successfully defeated TSB Flensburg 3-0 in a friendly match as Bartels, Lukimya and Lukowicz scored for the Green-Whites.

Line-up and formation: In their third game in three days, coach Viktor Skripnik started eight out of the eleven who started the match in Dortmund. Gebre Selassie, Vestergaard, Lukimya and Sternberg were the four in front of U23 keeper Ölschlägel. In midfield , Fin Bartels, Izet Hajrovic, Felix Kroos and Cedrick Makiadi will start. Up front, Franco Di Santo teamed up with Maik Lukowicz .

12th minute: Di Santo has the first good chance for Werder as Lukowicz plays in his attacking partner, but Di Santo can't finish.

23rd minute: Di Santo now sets up Bartels, but Werder's number 22 cannot slam it home from point blank range.

30th minute: This time he does!! After some good play from the recently substituted Melvyn Lorenzen, Bartels finishes to give Werder the lead.

45th Minute: Some more great play from Lorenzen as he sets up Capin who is just substituted into the match. That's all we have for the first half as its 1-0 for Weder. The champions from the Verbandsliga northwest have held their own so far.

46th Minute: Another change by Viktor Skripnik as Raif Husic replaces Ölschlägel in the Werder goal.

52th Minute: Werder get another one!! Assani Lukimya puts the ball in the back of the net after a goal mouth scramble. As a result, the Green-Whites go two up.

67th Minute: Lorenzen nearly has the third goal of the afternoon but his shot just goes wide. Some of the players who were subbed off are coming back onto the pitch now.

75th minute: As the game comes to a close, some of the Werder players are signing autographs and taking photos with the some of the fans as there is delight all around the ground.

88th minute: Lukowicz just keeps on scoring! After his six goals the other day, the striker heads in a cross from Luca Zander for Werder's third goal. It's his seventh goal in the past two days.

90th minute: Referee Daniel Siemers brings the match to a close as Werder defeats TSB Flensburg 3-0.

Summary: Three goals are enough for Bremen as they pick up a win in their third game in three days. Now the team gets a well deserved rest, before preparing for the 2015-16 season.
