+++Kroos back fit: Felix Kroos will be back in the Werder squad for the first time since the game against SC Paderborn. The 24-year-old broke a rib in the game against the relegation threatened side but has been able to train with his teammates all week. Luca Caldirola has also been able to train without any trouble after ongoing foot problems. However, the game has come too early for him, as Viktor Skripnik announced at the press conference ahead of the game with Borussia Mönchengladbach on Saturday (16th May, 15:30 CEST). Captain Clemens Fritz will miss the game along with long-term injured Alejandro Gálvez, Santiago Garcia and Özkan Yildirim. Goalkeeper Raphael Wolf will also miss out due to a hip problem.
Here is the 18-man SV Werder squad for the game against Borussia Mönchengladbach on Saturday:
Casteels, Zetterer - Lukimya, Makiadi, Vestergaard, Di Santo, Öztunali, Hajrovic, Prödl, Junuzovic, Kroos,Aycicek, Bartels, Gebre Selassie, Selke, Sternberg, Busch, Bargfrede. +++

+++Skripnik happy about Dnipro reaching final: After drawing 1-1 in the first leg of their Europa League semi-final with SSC Napoli, Ukrainian side Dnipro have made it through to the final after a sensational 1-0 win at home in the return fixture. Werder manager Viktor Skripnik, who used to play for the club before moving to the Bundesliga in 1996, is delighted about the incredible success of his former club: "Dnipro showed yesterday that anything is possible. I watched the whole game and the team put in a good performance. This footballing success allows us to put the tough political situation aside and it is good for the people of Ukraine. I won't be going to the final but I'll definitely be watching on the sofa." +++
+++Farewell for Prödl, Selke and Casteels: The club will officially say goodbye to three players before the kick-off against Borussia Mönchengladbach as Sebastian Prödl, Davie Selke and Koen Casteels will all leave the club at the end of the season. "All three are top guys. It's unfortunate that they are leaving. They will definitely play an important role at their future clubs," said sporting director Thomas Eichin. +++
+++Thumbs up to the U23s: In their penultimate game of the season, Werder's under-23s will take on FT Braunschweig on Sunday, 17th May (15:00 CEST) in the Regionalliga Nord. The promotion race is going down to the wire as only one point separates the Green-Whites and VfL Wolfsburg. A win is therefore crucial in order to remain at the top of the table.+++
