+++ Lorenzen back on the ball: Preparation for the final home game of the season against Borussia Mönchengladbach got under way today. Fritz, Di Santo and Co. went running whilst seven players undertook personal sessions: Theodor Gebre Selassie, Philipp Bargfrede, Felix Kroos, Luca Caldirola, Levent Aycicek, Marnon Busch and Melvyn Lorenzen. It was great to see the latter out on the field again as he has been out with injury for a long time. Viktor Skripnik confirmed last week that the 20-year-old was on the verge of returning to training. The players are off on Tuesday; they train twice on Wednesday. +++
+++ Comeback for Bartels: Fin Bartels returned to action after an injury lay-off on Saturday. The 28-year-old had been absent for almost a month and was brought on at the break against Hannover. "I'm happy to be back again. It was frustrating to be unable to help the lads recently," said the attacker. +++
+++Plaudits for Zlatko: It was his fifth goal for the season from a direct free kick and the 18th one which resulted in a goal this campaign. Zlatko Junuzovic's wonderful free kick levelled the scores against Hannover. This went down well with the fans, who voted him the Volkswagen "Man of the Match." Juno picked up 70% of the votes. +++
