+++ Double training on Wednesday: Although manager Viktor Skripnik had to manage without several players at training on Wednesday, the 45-year-old still put his team through their paces in a session this morning and they will train once again this afternoon. Despite the demanding session, the players were in high spirits. Between the different exercises, upon which Fritz, Junuzovic and Co. were fully focussed, there was still plenty of fun and things to laugh about. Alongside the players currently sidelined through injury, Lukas Fröde, Marnon Busch, Julian von Haacke and Maximilian Eggestein also missed training. They are set to play for the U23s against Hamburger SV in the Regionalliga Nord today. +++

+++ Grillitsch off to U20 World Cup: Florian Grillitsch has been named in Austria's squad for the upcoming U20 World Cup in New Zealand by manager Andreas Haraf. Grillitsch, who signed his first professional contract at the beginning of April, will remain in Bremen until 17.05.2015 to help the U23s in their challenge to secure promotion from the Regionalliga Nord to the third division. The U17 European Championship begins in Bulgaria today. Werder players Johannes Eggestein and Niklas Schmidt face Belgium in their first game of the tournament tonight (18:00 CEST). +++
