A fantastic fightback from Viktor Skipnik's men saw them win a point in Paderborn on Sunday afternoon. After the game WERDER.DE spoke to the main protagonists:

Viktor Skripnik: "We weren't at our best today. The game was a bit similar to the one in Stuttgart a few weeks ago, but we managed to hold on this time. It's always difficult to face like them. We showed a lot of spirit to come back from 2-0 down and I'm delighted with that."
Koen Casteels: "We have to be happy with the point in the end but we hoped for more. They were defensively sound and made life tough for us from set plays. We lost the ball too easily before the break. Davie's goal brought us back into the game and we made the most of the lifeline he threw us."
Izet Hajrovic: "We've faced the side bottom of the table three weeks in a row and it's never been easy. We started slowly today but fought hard and eventually picked up a point."
Thomas Eichin: "Today's fightback was a positive. We made mistakes early on but recovered from them and did enough to pick up a point."
Zlatko Junuzovic: "Paderborn were dangerous today, especially from set pieces. But at the same time, we weren't at our best. Thankfully we got a goal back before the break and we then went on to level the scores."

Thomas Eichin: "We were lacking a couple of percent today, so it becomes more difficult. We'll keep working. Our aim is to improve ahead of the next game and keep picking up points."
Zlatko Junuzovic: "A few months ago we were bottom of the table. Who'd have thought we would be challenging? We could still do it, but we're taking it game by game."
Viktor Skripnik: "We want to pick up as many points as possible and then we'll analyse the situation. You always want more success and we'd certainly like to qualify for the Europa League."
Clemens Fritz: "We've worked hard to get ourselves into this situation and we'll need to keep it up. We are fighting for seventh alongside four good sides."
Koen Casteels: "We'll take it game by game and pick up as many points as possible. It's a shame that we were lacking concentration before the break, which meant that success today was going to be tough."
Clemens Fritz: "I'm happy for Izet. He's waited for his chance and today he made the most of it."
Izet Hajrovic: "I'm very happy. Scoring was an amazing feeling. I'm delighted that it helped win us a point."
Viktor Skripnik: "I'm happy for him. He's finally scored his first Bundesliga goal. I hope that this will help increase his confidence."
