Zlatko Junuzovic, Sebastian Prödl, Izet Hajrovic, Theodor Gebre Selassie and Jannik Vestergaard were all in action for their respective countries on Tuesday.
Sebastian Prödl and Zlatko Junuzovic came up against Izet Hajrovic as the match between Austria and Bosnia and Herzegovina finished in a 1-1 draw. Izet Hajrovic equalised for Bosnia and Herzegovina with a long distance strike. Hajrovic and Junuzovic started the game for their respective countries, while Prödl came on in the 61st minute. Theodor Gebre Selassie played 60 minutes for the Czech Republic as they lost 1-0 to Slovakia.

Things went better for Jannik Vestergaard. Werder's winter signing helped Denmark's U21 team beat the USA 1-0 in a friendly. After the match, the central defender met Andreas Herzog. The former Werder player is currently the manager of the United States U23 team. Following the meeting, Vestergaard shared a picture of the two of them together on his Twitter profile.
The match between the Germany U20 team and the Czech Republic U20 team was called off due to bad weather conditions. This meant that Levin Öztunali and Davie Selke, who will leave Werder at the end of the season, returned earlier than expected. Lukas Fröde and Michael Zetterer were on standby for the squad and remained in Bremen during the break. The other players who have been away on international duty will return over the next few days.
