+++ Lorenzen back, but knackered: Melvyn Lorenzen was able to join in with training today after almost two months out injured. The striker, who was sidelined with a medial meniscus tear, felt "happy but knackered" after the session. There's no chance of the striker featuring against Kosovo in Friday's friendly, however. "It's too eayrly. I will stay in Bremen on Friday and will train on my own", reported the 20 year old. Team mates Alejeandro Gálvez, Özkan Yildirim and Julian von Haacke were also able to take part in the training session. +++
+++ Garcia trains alone: The Argentinean didn't follow his team mates onto the training pitch, instead he completed his own individual session in the strength room. The 25 year old is currently suffering from a tendon problem in his knee. The break from first team training, however, is merely a precautionary measure. +++

+++ Horror moment for Wolf: For a short moment, Werder's number one, Raphael Wolf, had to be treated on the sidelines of the training pitch. Right at the end of the session, a ball hit him in the face. Wolf ended the session as a precaution but gave the all clear last on. +++
+++ Birthday celebrations: Frank Ordenewitz celebratesd his 50th birthday today with the rest of the Werder family. The former Werder player is still heavily involved with the club as head scout. Also, on Tuesday another ex-pro celebrated their birthday. Michael Kutzop, who won the German championship in 1988 with Werder, turned 60. WERDER.DE wishes them both all the best. +++
