"Werder worldwide" is more than just the motto of the fourth "International Fan Weekend." During the next international break, which starts after this weekend's game against Köln, nine Werder stars will be linking up with their respective national teams.

Austrian duo Zlatko Junuzovic and Sebastian Prödl have a European Championship qualifier against Liechtenstein as well as a friendly against Bosnia-Herzegovina, which will see them potentially face fellow Werder player Izet Hajrovic. Bosnia also have a qualifier; they face Andorra.

Koen Casteels and Jannik Vestergaard are also on their travels (photo: nph).

Koen Casteels is on duty with Belgium for the qualifiers against Cyprus and table toppers Israel. Theodor Gebre Selassie is in the Czech Republic squad for their qualifier against Latvia and friendly against Slovakia.
