The German Football Association on Wednesday announced the exact schedule for the first six game days of the Bundesliga. SV Werder will play the opening match of the season against champions Borussia Dortmund on Friday 24 August 2012 at 8:30 p.m., followed by the next two Bundesliga matches against Hamburg (1 September 2012) and Hannover (15 September 2012) each on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. The fourth game day will see the first Sunday match of the season for the Green-Whites as they welcome Stuttgart on 23 September 2012 at 5:30 p.m. to Weser Stadium. The following week sees the Green-Whites take on Freiburg on Wednesday 26 September 2012 at 8 p.m. and then Bayern Munich on Saturday 29 September 2012 at 3:30 p.m.
