Drobny ruled out of action with muscle injury

Jaroslav Drobny will be out of action for several weeks. Close examinations on Monday afternoon showed that the 38-year-old goalkeeper had sustained a muscle injury that morning. Due to the injury, Drobny will not travel to the training camp in Zillertal.

Osako to join training at end of July

Yuya Osako will return to SV Werder for training on Friday, 27/07/2018 following his participation at the World Cup and his holiday, announced by head coach Florian Kohfeldt after the team’s first public training session today, Sunday 8 July. All new signings for the Green-Whites will finally be together once the Japan international arrives.

Augustinsson and Schweden out in the quarters after England defeat

Robert Bauer moves to 1. FC Nürnberg

Right-back Robert Bauer will leave SV Werder with immediate effect to join up with 1. FC Nürnberg  for the coming season on loan. Nürnberg will have the option to sign him permanently at the end of the loan. Werder’s sporting director Frank Baumann confirmed the news on Thursday morning.
