The Northern Derby: 500 tickets still available

Werder see injury worries wither away

There was good news for Werder Bremen as they headed into a weekend without Bundesliga action. Midfielder Daniel Jensen, who had been forced out due to a muscle sinew tear which he picked up soon after the clash with MSV Duisburg, was able to return to full team training again on Friday, as was German international Torsten Frings.

Torsten Frings hammered a shot from 27,4 meters out, with 114 km/h, into the top left corner of the net as the floodlights twinkled in awe at the ‘Rostocker-Arena’ of a shot so powerful that it rebounded out of the goal with almost as much venom as it had gone in.
